Garmin has announced the new GPSMAP 65 Series. Not a whole lot has changed for the new models other then additional GNSS support. The new GPSMAP 65 series is available for order here.

What’s Changed
There is realistically only one major change to the new 65 models compared to their 64 counterparts.
- Additional GNSS network support
- QZSS
- IRNSS
That’s it, two additional GNSS networks added the GPS. This won’t constitute an increase in positional accuracy. The only impact it may have is a faster connection acquisition and better signal retention.
